Pro-Tips
Clean the atomizer with a rubbing alcohol pad. When you see a lot of wax build-up on the atomizer where you twist in, the Carta desktop vaporizer doesn't recognize that the atomizer is in and doesn't heat up. After you clean it, it probably heats up again. The key is to keep the atomizer clean!

Check if the ceramic plate or the wire in the atomizer is damaged. Some of our customers have reported to us that if you tighten the atomizer too hard, the ceramic in the atomizer might get damaged. If it's damaged, you have to replace it. The atomizer is under the manufacturer's warranty for 1 month. Or use the Atomizer Repair Kit by Focus V which lets you repair your damaged atomizer 2 times

How to Clean the Carta Vaporizer V2

Suggested by Focus V

• Clean the air path and glass with iso and a Q-tip / pipe cleaner
• Clean the atomizer with a Q-tip and iso. Lightly brush the walls and bucket

Deep Clean Method

1. Remove the glass and dump the water. Remove the bucket from the atomizer as well. (Exposing just the ceramic disc)
2. Reattach the glass and turn the unit on to level 3 or 4
3. Draw from the glass and this will help pull out any excess oil in the air path
4. Clean the silicone base and the glass top
5. Dry all the parts and assemble them together. Now, you can have a fresh dab with Carta Focus V dab rig

1. Download and Install the Carta Browser App on your iPhone

2. Open the App and type "www.focusvcarta.com" in the browser section at the top and click enter. * You must put www. as well.

Now you are ready to use the Carta iOS App!

How to Use the Carta iOS App (Easy!)

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone. Turn on your Carta device.

2. Open the Carta App. Click PRESS TO CONNECT, and you will see your Carta ID, so select it and click PRESS TO CONNECT. 

3. You will have the screen below. Select the following

• HERB or WAX
• TEMPERATURE
• TIME

4. Click START SESSION. You are ready to dab or take a hit!

The updated new Focus V Carta iOS app is much easier to install and use on an iPhone. The old app had a lot of bugs and glitches. I personally don't remember how many times I had to reinstall the old app to use the Carta E-rig. So far, there is no problem at all with the new Carta iOS app. With the new app, it's easy to switch between WAX and dry herb and you can have more temperature and time settings. I personally prefer 590F temperature for Wax and concentrates. For dry herbs, I usually set up to MAX because I want to see smoke when I take a hit. What is your preferred temperature setting?
