This is a great grinder. Solid construction and build. Light but sturdy. The threads are smooth and precise. A high quality piece of craftsmanship. I've had other low price grinders and this is night and day better. Super smooth action with no kinks and a beautiful medium fluffy grind. Highly recommended. Lifetime warranty is wonderful as well.

Smooth as butter!

This is my second Santa Cruz Shredder, but the first one that isn't a two-piece grinder. This is a major upgrade from my last one and perfect for those that need a chamber to hold their herbs. I use it for my Mighty vaporizer and joints. It works beautifully, the herb comes out with a nice fluff and is the ideal consistency for joints or convection vaporizers. There is no screen to worry about keeping clean so it doesn't clog. Personally, the necessary maintenance of 4-piece grinders outweighs the benefits. A 3-piece provides more space to collect/store ground herbs and is much easier to keep clean. Lastly, the matte finish on the shredder is a nice visual touch and feels good in the hands. Except for two minor chips in the finish, my shredder is flawless and I will use it for a long time to come.
